This small but highly visible historic park was redesigned by Bellinger Foster Steinmetz’s staff involving work sessions with adjacent residents, members of the local historical commission and State Parks staff. The site is rich in archaeological and historical artifacts and warranted particular attention to those details as part of the master planning and construction document preparation process. The park includes a small plaza, formal walkways and passive seating and lawn spaces. Bellinger Foster Steinmetz also designed the renovation of the existing fountain basin and bowl and provided the details and specifications, including the plumbing and pump.
