Bellinger Foster Steinmetz assisted State Parks with design development and complete construction documents to convert an existing parking lot to an expanded garden that enhances pedestrian connections between Monterey’s historic adobes. Elements of the garden include stairways, lighting, walls, walkways, and new planting areas. The garden is detailed to be visually distinctive while maintaining sensitivity to the historic surroundings.
