The City of Watsonville, in conjunction with a property owner/developer, set aside 14 acres of property from a subdivision for a neighborhood park. As a first phase, Bellinger Foster Steinmetz developed a conceptual master plan for the park and construction documents for adjacent ballfields that were built through community donations.
Following this, BFS provided design development and construction documents for the first phase of City park features, including play areas, open turf, walks, and parking improvements.
Ultimately there will be seamless integration between the City maintained park and ballfield area operated by local sports leagues.
