To respond to the changing recreation needs of Watsonville residents, the City iupgraded and intensified park facilities at Ramsay Park. Bellinger Foster Steinmetz assisted the City with park master planning and construction documents for an indoor soccer complex, parking, and sports field renovations. As part of the master planning process, costs and compatibility of expanded recreation opportunities at other sites were compared to development at Ramsay Park. Phase One improvements were awarded in Spring 2000 with the low bid of $780,000, within 1% of the Bellinger Foster Steinmetz estimate.
