A complex of former army buildings was converted to visual arts studios and class rooms. The paved outdoor areas between the buildings became seating and outdoor exhibit spaces. Bellinger Foster Steinmetz prepared site design studies for outdoor spaces as well as planting and irrigation construction documents. The planting design incorporated sculptural plant forms, foliage and color features to complement the arts design environment.
