The process of building an all-weather synthetic surfacing for the Madera High School track and field occurred over a two year period. Bellinger Foster Steinmetz was retained early on for preparation of an initial plan and estimates for board reviews. BFS also assisted in reviewing other BFS completed projects with District staff to help them understand the materials and process. The project was completed in October of 2006 with a collegiate level "urethane sandwich" track surfacing system. The bid was within 4% of the estimates.
